Parenti argues that this incipient “climate fascism” — a political hardening of wealthy states — is bound to fail. The struggling states of the developing world cannot be allowed to collapse, as they will take other nations down as well. Instead, we must work to meet the challenge of climate-driven violence with a very different set of sustainable economic and development policies.

I would “loose” it over the first two commenters attempts at overturning the mountains of data supporting not only climate change and the resultant seismic shifts in resource wars, but that lefty organization, the US DOD, beat me to the punch..in 2009. The Pentagon just released updated–and far more dire warnings– on 08 Feb. 2016.

There’s another title under this search, “The Republican Brain - Chris Mooney” subtitled “The science of why they deny science-and reality,” fully describes the first two commenters: “political parties reflect personality traits and psychological needs—with Republicans more wedded to certainty, Democrats to novelty—and this is the root of our divide over reality.”
I might also recommend spell checking.
