So that’s the hold up. Thanks for the info, anansisan.
I read The Time Traders when I was fourteen (1958) and never realized it was anything but a standalone. Now I understand it is part of a heptalogy, comprised of:
The Time Traders
The Galactic Derelict
The Defiant Agents
Key Out of Time
Firehand
Echoes of Time
Atlantis Endgame
I sure hope they are turned into audiobooks soon. I can no longer read more than a page or two before my eyes give up, so I certainly hope I am still here, and can hear, when they are available in audio format.

Books #1,2 & 4 are in the public domain so their is no barrier to making audio versions of them. Sherwood Smith, co-author of #6 & 7 is already a prolific Audible author, so no problem there either. However #2 Galactic Derelict is still under copyright by the Norton Estate and #5 Firehand was co-written by P.M. Griffin, so negotiations for the audio rights for those are probably still in progress.
