We should all be concerned at the vaunted decline of the political centre. The moderate centre always has to clean up the bloody, horrific mess left by the unparalleled stupidity of the left/right circus/freak show. As dumb as a box of ideological rocks. They be as stoopid as advertised.

Blame social media. I had a long discourse complete with hypotheticals and sharp, punchy descriptions but the Submit button ate it and…well, damn. I haven’t the energy. That was the gist. We search out the ones like us and the more we interact with them to the exclusion of our real-world neighbors, the less we remember how to tolerate those not like us. I even had a pithy optimistic sign-off that just feels forced if trying to duplicate it. Damn the tech gods.
