Unable to get activation email after signing up for the forum, any tips to fix this issue?

I don’t know what causes the issue, but it wasn’t email provider related, as I tried quite a few.
Oddly, I had the Error message at the top, AND a success message every time I tried to have the activation email resent….
After a couple years of trying…..it finally occurred to me to write in to ask for a manual activation….I can’t believe it took me so long to get around to it LOL. The response was quite fast :)
Wait a bit, and try again. If you don’t’ get the email after a reasonable time, try writing in then.
