Sadly, this is incomplete. Disc 2 just ends in the middle of the story. The 2 files in this download add up to about 2 hours and 40 minutes, clearly not a whole audiobook. This is also the only actual audiobook copy of this book I could find, everything else is that radio show =(

Ok so maybe this is complete?… I just figured out it is continued in the next book, ‘The Restaurant at the end of the Universe’. HOWEVER, every other copy I find of this first book is about 5 hours long, and this one is only 2:40. They end at the same point, so I somehow missed a couple hours?…

This is an abridged version from the days when most audiobooks (at least for retail) had to fit on a couple of cassettes. This one was released by Listen For Pleasure (EMI) on two tapes in the UK in the 1980s, maybe even ’70s. I love Stephen Moore’s readings.
