Things on board the RMS Atlantic are terribly, terribly complicated…
Monty Bodkin loves Gertrude, who thinks he likes Lotus Blossom, a starlet who definitely adores Ambrose, who thinks that she has a thing for his brother, Reggie, who is struck by Mabel Spence, sister-in-law of Ikey Llewellyn (movie mogul, Ambrose’s prospective employer, and reluctant smuggler), but hasn’t the means to marry her.
With the well-meaning but unhelpful ship’s steward, Albert Peasemarch, and a toy mouse with a screw-top head thrown in for good measure, it will, indeed, take the luck of the Bodkins to sort it all out.

But I believe, 256k is an overkill. For myself downloaded this book from another source, with 96k bitrate.

Thx for these high quality shares. You can really tell the difference, even on my mobile using Smart Audiobook Player, where there is an option to increase the volume in the app itself. When using this feature with low bitrate abs, there is a lot of distortion, but with your high bitrate rips, it is as clear as a whistle..

No offence meant, all I wanted to say, that it is not in my collection and worth to be downloaded in any case. Thank you for bringing this book here.
Quality is another topic. Believe me, I like quality sound, and in many cases, can see the difference between DSD128 and FLAC 24/96. But for books, high resolution is meaningless. I checked it on spectrum analyzer: master records were just not good enough to make the visible difference between mp3 128 and 256. If you like to think, that you have the best quality possible - rip it into FLAC. But MP3 256k? I dont understand it even for music.
But again, its just a note, not a blaming of any kind. Its far better to make rips like that, than 8/32k crap.

People who are comfortable with 32 kbps can encode the above audio and enjoy.
However, if the work is uploaded at 32kbps, it cannot be encoded to 64, 96 or 128 kbps.
So, its better to upload at higher bit rate to satisfy all.
