In Aleron Kong The Land: Predators, the Mist Village has harnessed its power. Evil nobles from the Kingdom of Law, bloodthirsty goblins from the Serrated Mountains, an undead lord with a penchant for human sacrifice, and fanatical kobolds from the Depths all plot the village’s destruction. The predators are circling. Richter’s people are horribly outnumbered by foes whose own power has been entrenched for thousands of years.
Richter and Sion need to be stronger than ever before. Luckily, they are. New skills have been learned, stronger enchantments have been wrought, and the hundreds of villagers have answered the call to adventure. The Companions do not stand alone. While many eyes have turned toward the mists, wanting to take the treasures within, the Mist Village stares back with a simple message.

Thank you very much for another lossless rip in m4b with cue file.
@chrisisbob You have the cue file, just split by the original chapter marks (from the cue file, thx pellep) using one of the many programs out there, and while you’re at it, convert to mp3 if you need to, but you will loose the lossless quality of the m4b. Pellep uploaded this perfectly to satisfy everyone with the m4b and cue, as mentioned above.

m4b isn’t lossless, it’s the same as m4a and mp4a so it’s lossy.

Obviously he doesn’t mean that the codec is lossless but that the file hasn’t been transcoded from what it was originally decrypted from.

It’s the same since book 3 pretty much. Expected the author to write better after a few books. I guess the formula sells so he sticks with it.

Unfortunately at approximately 37h the book starts exhibiting odd skipping behavior. I tried different time markers after the 37h spot and unfortunately the behavior persists.
Conclusion: after 37h you can’t listen to the book anymore.
Other than that the novel is great, thank you very much for uploading this gem.

Yip same problem as Jason. Fine until 37:16:56 then it does a weird cyclic skip every 3 seconds for the final 10 hours.

Actually, re-downloaded the original .m4b file and it played fine to the end. Problem was with the AVC software I used to convert it to .mp3 I’m guessing. Probably ‘cos the file is so long?
Used Yamb to split the final 10hrs and it worked fine after converting.
Quality is perfect. Thank you!
