Okay, this is a solid first book in a kingdom building series. Dark and gritty with a great attention to detail.
Narration is done by a wonderful voice actor but, I have not heard much of him. I will admit, he does make the listen very enjoyable and, does n excellent job. All voices are crisp, clear and, easy to tell the characters from one another without any issues.
Will try to post more over this weekend as I ahve time. Have a great Saturday folks.

This is a great book! Definitely a pleasurable surprise. I enjoyed it very much. Great voice actor as well, a tad too dramatic for my taste but fits the atmosphere and writing style admirably. Thanks BD!

thanks for posting. well written and I usually don’t care for kingdom building books. can only hope book two in this series will be as good.
