Warning. this audio book has sound effects. distracting, annoying and louder than the reader.

Any way we could get this in high 320 bit rate in stereo? Too many of the audiobooks the past 2 years have been low bit rate or mono torrents. We used to get pretty much every SW book in 320 stereo. I listen to audiobooks with headphones on to immerse myself in the experience, I cant do that in mono with 64kps.

Audiobooks are fine @128k as anything above that would make the file too big which isn’t necessary.
The minimum should be 64k while 96k is better and 128k is the ‘best’, relatively.
If you have the storage capacity, then 320k is fantastic but many rippers don’t use that file size as it’s unnecessary when 128k is more than sufficient.

Ps. I did not find the sfx louder than the reader, nor annoying or distracting. Perhaps some people are hyper sensitive.

In response to Wondering’s comment: Incorrect. 128 is still a but muffled. For crisp clean audio, 192 should be used as minimum. Only 192 includes all audio frequencies.

This book shows off how much of a badass Vader is. An enjoyable listen.
