Noam Chomsky is one of the last great voices of true insight into how the modern elite class controls things from the shadows.

Indispensable for understanding propaganda, how it is used, by whom and for what purposes. Somewhat outdated in the age of the internet and podcasts, but the core principles and analysis still hold true. Chomsky is firmly on the Left, but don’t let that dissuade you- this analysis is about the ruling elite and how they use the tools at their disposal to manufacture the narratives that justify their machinations. It was written when the foreign policy of that elite was mostly carried out by the Republican party, but today’s favored tools are the Democrats.
