Darn it all, you just have to admire Wilbur’s authorial tenacity & indefatigability. He’s as seemingly indestructible as ol’ Taita himself.

Since he’s been dead nearly 5 years, Octavian, I think he only wrote outlines (if anything), or Chadbourn just uses the characters to extend the series. It’s called flogging a dead horse, and Publishers are getting as bad as Hollyweird. :/

Perhaps it’s the old story of re-creation - as ancient as the pyramids. Didn’t Publius Vergilius (an old amicus) do a bit of it with Homer’s epics? But it’s ill-advised when Brian Herbert does it, finding those dubious outlines in the attic/shed. Oy, leave it be.
