I have a question about m4b files, is there a software I can use to split this into the two individual books?

If you use AIMP it will read the cue file with the m4b file and split it into chapters.
My method for saving the split parts:
First convert to mp3 (I use freac - free full function)
Then I use mp3DirectCut (again totally free s/w).
If you have a cue file then load the mp3, then load the cue file and save it chapter by chapter (or whatever way the cue file splits it).
Also useful for splitting large mp3 files into (say) 30 min parts for easier listening, or combining many short files into 1 or more larger parts.

Thanks cataleya, I will try AIMP since it seems I don’t have to go through MP3 to achieve what I want using that method. I save all my books in m4b, so converting back and forth will degrade quality.
