In order to stay human, Audrey has built a moat around herself; a moat of books, music, and dreams. It makes her different from the echoes: the sophisticated, emotionless machines, built to resemble and work for the humans.
Daniel is an echo - but he’s not like the others. He has feelings he was never designed to have, and cannot explain. And when Audrey is placed in danger, he’s determined to save her.
We are in familiar territory. The future is dominated by big corporations – especially the two hi-tech monsters, Castle Industries and Sempura. It’s not quite a dystopia, but things are far from well. Global warming has left half the world scorched, and half drowned. The police and politicians are in the pockets of the oligarchs. The rich reside in mansions protected by robot dogs, and the poor live in floating slums. Much of the manual work and most domestic drudgery is performed by humanoid robots, each generation of which has grown a little more refined, a little more human, than the last. The latest are called Echos (Enhanced Computerised Humanoid Organisms) – physically perfect but not yet imbued with emotions.

Gweilo, I am sorry to correct you, but this is the the exact same torrent, same hash, and same content, I tried to download it to test and it matches the one I have been seeding when I can.

Lolita is correct. Editing a torrent file to change the trackers doesn’t change the hash. People who download the original torrent should be able to access the seeders of this one through DHT. Also one of the original trackers is still active and included in this one.

Compare the Info Hash and Creation Date on this page to those on the original upload and you will find that they are exactly the same:

Yes, I do know about preserving hashes. I’ve edited torrents to add live trackers and reuploaded them myself so as to expand the pool of seeds.
(I use the editor from https://sourceforge.net/projects/torrent-file-editor/ )

since the original upload in 2010 did not have DHT, it was on its last legs as only one original tracker was still working.
When I posted my comment there was a display glitch and the site wasn’t displaying the hash for this torrent at all, so I thought it could not be the same as the other, which did show a hash. But whatever caused that it does display now, and both are the same.
Still, not sure that “reseeded” is the correct term. But will not quibble further.
Anyway, anansisan, as it is a duplicate, please delete the original torrent listing. Existing seeds/peers will not be affected and it will ensure that new downloaders get the new trackers.

Thanks for the reminder to delete the original. I’m more used to reseeding other people’s uploads.
I just discovered that torrent editor when I was preparing this one and it is great. Previously I have used an online editor at http://torrenteditor.com/ but it has a bug that when you hit save, it deletes all but 3 of the trackers you entered.
