Love, love this series. Sentar has a unique way of writing that I never get tired of.
The two narrators always do a great job and, with the storm for the weekend, I know waht I am going to listen to.

Wow! Changed the narrators over a survey….he’s sort of right since it is us that buy (or pirate the books) but, I had no issues with the first 2 set of voice artists for the series.

(Ironically just started this series by finishing the first book, and just found about the switch. Threet is way better than Rozelyn.)

@bd2232 First your a legend… The major complaint was that apparently Lewis Alexander sounded too old, and their complaint about Rozelyn Rader was that she isn’t Jessica Threet. I thought the original narrators did a great job. I guess they’ve all been re-recorded and apparently the re-records are supposed to be free if you already have the other books on audible, but there was some sort of error with that which he’s trying to sort out. So if you get the 101 to 202 re-records, you’d graduate from legend to Super Legend.

I agree with you bobjuanovitz3, I liked the original narrators. I do love everything I’ve read by Threet she is amazing. That being said I’m about the same with series narrators as I am movie and TV show actors being replaced, it pretty much ruins it for me. But since I love this series I’ll solider on lol.

A change in narrator at this point in the series nearly kills it for me… I don’t dislike the new narrators and I don’t dislike the previous narrators… but it just breaks the immersion.

Thx man. I don’t know if you have the rest of the series on audible, but if you do could we get the rest of the series with the new narrators? All you’d have to do is re-download them if you’ve already got them. AS for the narrators, I don’t mind Lewis as he has come a long way as a narrator. Some of his older stuff under his old name can be cringe, I’m looking at you Dragon Emperor. That and those two are everywhere now. Chris is too but he runs the company that they work for so he doesn’t do quite as many. As for the ladies no complaints for either. Anyway I think I’ll wait on this book until the rest of the rerecords are up here, as my brain won’t let me dive in with the new character voices when starting over is an option.

AudibleX: Never corrected it but, did use a credit but found it to up online so, got refunded.
In Canada (don’t know about the rest of the countries), if you are a member of Audible.ca in good standings with a premium plus account, you can return a title. Returned credit is good only for 12 months (but who sits on credits like that?) and, you can’t use the app to return a book, you have to use a browser (direct website) or, if purchased off a desktop, same thing browser only to start the refund for the credit.
Don’t think I’ll do it again though, wording states it can be revoked or suspended for any account at anytime if they so feel like it. Will see wht I will do later today but, need to run to the store. Might be getting hit by a storm for St. Patty’s Day coming up.

@bd2232, It’s the exact same in the US with audible rules. And over all the years I’ve only returned like 4 books. And only once because it was uploaded here.
But I’ve also spent cedits just to complete series missing books here too.

Okay, had no idea if it was just for Canucks or everyone that you can do it with Audible.
For those of you who are wondering, my wife is torturing me at the store right now and, she MUST look at everything that she MIGHT buy this summer. She is off trying on clothes (when we should be buying food) so, I am on the cell and sitting on a bench.
Please, someone on here, save me! I swear this is abuse and I can say nothing. If you are married (like myself) you learn to pick your battles (and this is one I am not touching lol).
Alright, at least someone will see this and send help. Will up more books when (and if) we leave this shopping (quick shopping trip mind you).

Aid has been sent, but reports say half the platoon got stuck in a snow bank, another quarter are still playing hockey, the other quarter are in a Canadian standoff about who should go first them or the guy who wants to cross the street, and Steve is herding geese.
