Every so often it’s worth being reminded that as well as being an inspired social and political commentator, Steven Pinker is also one of the great interpreters of modern linguistics.

Originally published: 1999. This is BEFORE Pinker be came a data massaging liar with that POS ‘Better Angles of Our Nature’.
He also lied by saying he flew on dead sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein’s planes, but never socialized with him.

Oh apnea, Steven Pinker was already a social commentator when he wrote ‘How the Mind Works’ two years before this text, and was full on a historian of ideas when he published ‘The Blank Slate’ two years after.
If only they would let you out of that basement, eh (and teach you to read)?
