It all started in the 60’s in California with the baby-boomer counter-culture and has spread to other Western countries as the U.S. became a dominant cultural force.

Highly recommended. Extremely well written and funny. The cherry on the cake is Danny Wallace who narrates the book, it a great voice actor. I enjoyed this so much.
