  Not positive about this, but i thought packing into a compression format (zip, rar, 7z……) was not allowed here. Just thinking out loud.

  I don’t grab compressed packs. If I can’t see what I’m grabbing, I’ll pass.

  These archives aren’t usually executables. You should of course be careful of what is INSIDE a zip file. But most archive programs will show you the files inside with their full extensions. So long as whats inside is actually an audio file it cant do much of anything on its own. So if you are using archive and media player programs you trust you should be fine. It’s .exe or.bat files and other executables that can be dangerous.

  I scanned them and opened them. They are fine.

  Yea this stinks. I need #4 and not the nearly 1 Gig file size. No way to do this all packed up.

  Thank you for posting this series! Something my wife was looking for and lo-and-behold, here there are. Nothing wrong with archives if it makes the transfer smaller.

  No need to be so concerned, you can catch a virus with mp3/4 files just as easily as with a 7z one lol

  Wow all these weirdos with zip file phobia.
  You do realise that zip files that are not password protected are the same as mp3 files.
  mp3 is a compression algorithm just as zip is, and can be packet scanned as its being downloaded by W10 and any of today’s virus scanner packages.
  Put aside your misunderstandings and rejoice in the knowledge bestowed upon you this day.:)
