  Sorry folks. In retrospect, I’m significantly over-reacting. You folks are right. Tolstoy and Conrad are great writers and certainly learning more about the lives of influential historical figures from Clausewitz to Frederick Douglas has a lot of merit. If I put aside my feelings and think rationally, ssitimefill has posted a lot of great books and he has brought a lot of worthwhile torrents back to life. It’s irritating when a torrent dwindles and loses its seeders. Ssitimefill deserves our thanks for bringing so many wonderful torrents back to life. He has given us works by Robert Graves, Casanova, Orwell, and Ian McEwan. It’s a stellar effort, and I shouldn’t be so cranky. It’s immature, and it’s not like me - or at least it’s not like the person I strive to be.

  I’m glad to hear you endorsing ssitimefill’s work, and I agree, he’s bringing some very solid material to the site. I’ve wanted to read Clausewitz for some time, and the Ian McEwan does look very interesting. McEwan explores tarnished innocence with such an edge. I’m never quite sure whether his books delight or disturb me, but I guess that’s the brilliance of great writing; it pushes you to think in new ways, even if it is uncomfortable to do so.
