Ugh. Only two options, huh?
Fascinating. I’d bet my life the end result will be neither.
Pure democracy, as they say, is like two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner. No one in their right mind wants that. ANYTHING you do to ameliorate the inherent evil of pure democracy makes it something other than a pure democracy. Maybe not a republic, but certainly not a democracy.
Oh - I never look back, so whatever arguments you care to spew will not be seen by me.
