Awesome, thank you so much! I read Naomi Cline’s Doppleganger recently and she referenced the book of sand as a prophecy for our endless appetite to be entertained.

@Keenan108 Your comment left me intrigued and I wonder if you could clarify. Do you mean Naomi Klein’s Doppelganger? Because I also read it recently, and I can 100% guarantee that at no point in Doppelganger does she reference, quote, or even allude to The Book of Sand, or any other book by Borges.

Having read everything of Borges I still feel agitation everytime my eyes encounter a cover of one more ’selection’. Certainly understanding that the greatest author hasn’t written anything new (by understandable reasons) - I never miss a chance to re-lsiten almost ‘learned by heart’ novels in someone else’s performance.
