Stop & cogitate, then realise Utopia is not, by its very nature, on the map. No place, as Thomas More gave us to understand. To acknowledge our reliable state of dissatisfaction, regardless of fortune, would be a mature realisation that finally slouches towards the parameters of reality.
The 20th c ideological dark age comprised many systems which slouched very much in the worst possible direction. So, no Utopia, but an abundance of wretched Dystopias. The extreme ideological “isms”/wasms always prove themselves profoundly creative in the realm of Dystopia generation.
Manifestly, we reject liberal democracy at our direst peril.

Good Points Caesar. The closest I have ever seen as a chance for a society that is as close to a utopian society we will ever be able to get, would be The Venus project. This idea was presented by Peter Jackson in the YouTube series Zeitgeist: Addendum and Zeitgeist: moving Forward.
As long as we have this insane money and financial society, we will never know anything other than financial slavery and totalitarianism, which is where we are moving, and moving fast.
Before you criticize these ideas, I suggest actually watching the series and looking at the Venus project, it represents fairness, ethnics, rationality and a society not run on fear, the opposite of what we live in now.
