They can hardly refuse, as the adventure would bring them within spitting distance of the woodland realm of the elves, which is currently enduring an attack by the neighboring country of Odrana. So Daniel and Orrin hope to get stronger conquering the dungeon and then lend a hand in the war.

Moxtar book 1 was an isekai adventure stories with 2 (best?) friends trying to make the best of their respective situations, which is why it was great.
Now book 2 incorporates out of nowhere the MC trying to figure out if he’s gay for his best friend or some bs. Pardon me if I’m just not interested in that garbage.

The main character has emotional issues and is really embarrassed when a guy hits on him (in book 1)
In Book 2 he decides that he dislikes the guy that hit on him in the previous book and nothing else is ever said about it.

yeah there was nothing overtly gay in the book aside for a short 3 sentence trade about “hurr The hero shouldnt bang a bunch of cute elf girls” which I found extremely homosexual.

For the MAGA-Nazis, either grow up or come out. Mature adults can handle mature topics, if it distracts you too much it’s a you issue.

We are all here hoping for a good litRPG book. You shouldn’t be surprised someone is complaining about have an unnecessary gay dialogue getting rammed down their throats.
Get your MAGA Nazi garbage out of here. You’re the Nazi telling everyone else what they are allowed to think and what they aren’t.
Hope the book is good and doesn’t oversell the cringy sexuality stuff. It wouldn’t be the first book series that crashed and burned after nosediving into a woke hypocritical narrative.

I just finished the book and as mentioned above it was nothing overtly gay. It may make some people uncomfortable but nothing about this screamed “woke culture”. We all come from diverse places and backgrounds, lets share our opinions of the books and not attack each other.

It probably depends on your tolerance to uncomfortable sexual scenes. After listening to it, I can confirm a significant portion of the book is gay courting. If you enjoy exploring sexuality and extensive gay flirting, this will be a good read for you. If you don’t enjoy that then probably skip the rest of this series.
SPOILER BELOW
A main male support character spends over half the book with the MC, aggressively trying to get the MC to sleep with him. The MC spends much of this time questioning his own sexuality. This is NOT 1 or 2 sentences. It is every interaction between the characters for over half the book.
Of course there’s all the painful cultural virtue signaling but it’s hard for any author to avoid that.

Lol. The whole time I read the first book I was thinking the author was gay. You all missed it, but one of the clutch moments from the last books was a “compliment deeper than any girlfriend had given him”.
And they joked about the two friends arguing like an old married couple. There was a lotta subtext.

This series is awesome 👌 this is for all the people saying this book is gay it’s not weirdo’s Garrett is a man hoe and flirts with everyone men and women he flirted a few times with one of the MC’S and it’s over nothing happens. Don’t ruin this series being a drama lama…
