On the specific element of Marxism used in the title, strictly in isolation, and why it is such a harmful ideology; of course, anyone paying attention to the history of the last century & a half, and to the details of Marxist theory itself, these harms are reasonably & morally clear. Extreme l/r ideologies & their genocidal implementation, have turned recent history into a barbaric charnel house, all across the globe.
A narrow, self-serving ideological perspective on these issues will of course serve to conceal & disguise the harms. The fruit of the poisoned tree, bringing out the very worst. An interesting, if truly grim, area of vital concern.

generally speaking it appears that the pro-marxists and critics on here possess a very (very), superficial understanding or non at all. Because that is kind of how it is coming off. It is very clear you guys either do not understand what this is really about or can’t present a critical defense of why the author is wrong. Simply calling people right-wing is just not a suitable critique and even worse when it is a blanket dismissal of the ideas you don’t think you agree with,
And even worse if it is your only addition to these conversations.
Look, if most of you are just high school kids I feel bad, but that is the general tone of the criticisms, which is totally fine if that is where you’re at.
If you are not in high school (older), then maybe you should read up on the ideas you are appearing to support and even a little on the ideas you don’t think you support (enough that is sounds like you know what your talking, right?)

James Lindsay is a national treasure. Someone has to go through these horrible marxist books and explain them to the rest of us. thank G-d for James. Very important intellectual in this modern attempted cultural revolution
