Seems to be missing about an hour(?) Files add up to 22h20m but Audible and description above state it should be 23h22m

The audiobook length or total playing time is correct, 23h 22m. I guess there may be some related technical issue on your side?

The Problem is with the 2nd chapter file. It will play on VLC but won’t upload to an iphone.

No such problem detected on iPad 4 mini (btw, sometimes stripping mp3 files of all tags might help, for that one can use any ‘mp3 tag strip’ program, also tag stripping function can be found in many tag editors — if it works, then mp3 files can be re-tagged from scratch as required).
