there is not much DCC style (which i prefer) i quit that series 2 books in

Thanks for the upload Izzy.
The integration premise is literally lifted from DCC, then grafted on a high fantasy sword and sorcery world. It doesn’t work. MC is made of cardboard. There is a snarky system, there are pop culture references, there is a helpful AI to do all the exposition. Steve Corona does less of a “pouty baby” voice than other books. All in all, It’s not good.

there is an ai but it is a lot about fellowship building aswell

Thanks for the upload!
I found the writing to be very amateurish. It is constantly bogging itself down with unnecessary explanations and exposition, while not answering any real questions. This artificial mystery tells me author has no idea himself about the mechanics of the world, which is another sign of a bad writing.
