Months after the Waterless Flood pandemic has wiped out most of humanity, Toby and Ren have rescued their friend Amanda from the vicious Painballers. They return to the MaddAddamite cob house, newly fortified against man and giant pigoon alike. Accompanying them are the Crakers, the gentle, quasi-human species engineered by the brilliant but deceased Crake. Their reluctant prophet, Snowman-the-Jimmy, is recovering from a debilitating fever, so it’s left to Toby to preach the Craker theology, with Crake as Creator. She must also deal with cultural misunderstandings, terrible coffee, and her jealousy over her lover, Zeb.

This is good torrent nice and small 16kbs, it sounds quite good for such a low bitrate, very good…

I appreciate the sharing, but the audio quality is not great.
The narrator can be understood ok for the most part but it is full of pops and other sound glitches.
Good thing it is variable bitrate though, CBR at 16 kbps would be worse.

I think 32kbps, 16 bit Mono is the lowest I would prefer. It works great in most cases.
But I also appreciate the upload very much. Thank you.

I think the pops and other sound glitches are the result of the software used to reformat it from whatever format it was before like audible, so it would not matter what the bit rate is, I would have preferred 32 kbps also though…

it’s just not do-able. sooner or later a decent file will become available - this one is unlistenable…

… but I can’t get the RapidGator download to work. It repeatedly gives me an “Error 500: this download session is not for you”, and then “there needs to be at least 120min between downloads”. Then I wait two or three or four hours and try again: same thing. Nasty.
Would love a good torrent release.

downloaded this and realized it was m4b. found an mps on kickasstorrents but it was corrupted. is this worth trying to convert or should i just hold out for another upload?

Sadly this is almost impossible to listen to due to poor sound quality.
