Will and Penny are still normal American kids–except for penny’s precocious wit, and Will’s penchant for building homemade time machines. The starship Jupiter2 also carries a last-minute team member. Major Don West is a hotshot pilot and war hero whose courage is matched only by his swagger.

As before, the family has a Robot, programmed to serve and protect, as long as its programming remains unaltered. And they have a stowaway: Dr. Zachary Smith, a saboteur who knows neither honor nor scruple.

They leave a dying Earth, sickened by pollution and overpopulation. They seek a new Eden–Alpha Prime–where human-kind will get a second chance. And they face enemies more awesome, more devious, and more lethal than anything they’ve ever faced before!
