Despite appearances (and tags) tnis is not a “romance”, and lesbians are mentioned but little more.
It’s about a woman in army basic training, who gets injured and spends a few months convalescing, then is discharged.
She has no sex and never goes to war.
Quite tedious really. “Jarhead” is a much better book.
