I never stopped seeding them. If I check my history, it shows I shared a book on a certain date, but no info. I check my upload dates to correspond to those titles.
If you search for “Milo Yiannopoulos”, or “Mollie Hemingway” you get a blanks.
It can be expected these days. I’m surprised it wasn’t the Ryan T. Anderson book.

Outside of the US - where the ideologies seems 2 b strong in all of them - broadly speaking, how many non-conservatives are there, in actuality? How often do we meet someone who isn’t a conservative in relation to something? Once one reaches a point of understanding in relation to value, one necessarily enters into a relationship of conservation/preservation with that phenomenon/value. Useful values are preserved. Think of education in this way: as an all-purpose good.
Also, alteration is indeed constant, and orthodoxies do change. And the “new” regnant, prevailing orthodoxy - whatever it may be - can be harmful, in that it may hold society/systems in a state of almost frozen ruin.

The preservation of education as an institutional good does not mean the preservation of specific educational models that are variously outdated, bigoted, factually incorrect and scientifically incoherent is a good. The drive to conserve is tempered with the desire for actual progress. Conservatism as an ideological project is far, far more than this and you trying to water it down and couch it as some nice little equation based in first principles is as sinister as a nonce trying to give a kid sweeties.

Education, properly construed, as the inculcation of traditional critical thinking skills, which guard against the spread of toxic ideological models. The last century offers ample cases. Liberal democracy was threatened by toxic ideologies which offered themselves as the ineluctable engines of the future & progress.
They declared liberalism to be moribund (as Putin did again recently). The State was wholly regnant over rights-based individualism, liberty, the rule of law, economic freedom, free trade, limited govt, private property, human rights, freedom of expression.
However, the traditional social contract was maintained & conserved in the West, and we saw the toxic ideologies into their graves, where they had placed tens of millions of human beings.
And I clearly concede your greater knowledge of, uh, trapping children, toad. Although I would urge a more socially beneficial occupation.

Come on Caesar, you’re not trying. these “traditional critical thinking skills” aren’t themselves up for review, or optionally up for expansion into critiques of entire social institutions and cultural tropes are they? Because then you’d have to accept the natural consequence of these things would be critical theories of race and gender being actually valid. Your notion that the identification and guarding of ‘toxic idiological models’ is something that is easily performed and not subject to purely ideological bias itself in its performance is silly. Thats precisely where the wheels fall off. Your critical thinking has to apply to the modes, methods, motivations and question of the targets of your critical thinking in the first place. The social contract is a product of all human civilisation, not just that of the west. It’s interesting to hear different definitions and nuances of a term that is so commonly referred to in public and public life. George Will’s definition is based more on an American philosophy, of natural rights. Meanwhile, certain aspects of anarchy allude to conservatism, in its aspects of anti-industrialization. One could even argue that those who would like to abandon the monetary system of exchange have a certain propensity for conservatism. And then of course there is the classic conservatism of Russell Kirk, which weds it to religious tradition and commonly accepted behaviors.
