Not an audiobook, so I hope this post isn’t taboo, but thought the demographic would appreciate it.
Music from the Doctor Who series and other music from the series, including the Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 2, Debussy’s ‘La fille aux cheveux de lin’ and Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, live at the Royal Albert Hall, July 13, 2013

Doctor Who returns to the Proms to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the popular BBC series. As well as showcasing Murray Gold’s music from the past eight years, the concert also journeys back to the early days of Doctor Who and the groundbreaking work of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
Featuring special guests from the series, big screens and a host of monsters ready to invade the Royal Albert Hall, this is not the year to be exterminated!

Thanks man. Not seeing any seeds yet, but I have faith.
<<fingers crossed.

I had to delete and re-add it (must by Cybertechnology!) but it’s seeding now.
It’s really funny what they said in the intermission (the best part?) about the last 8 years being all real orchestra and choirs. As it’s finally started having state of the art visual production effects, the sound has gone old school with blokes and gals that are sitting there playing real instruments live for the audio tracks. Who’s just cool; what did we expect?

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I had wondered. Most of it is really awesome. I had to listen twice to figure out why the audience was reacting at different times. The screams at the beginning are because there were a lot of kids there and the lights were down and they had Daleks and Cybermen just coming up the aisles all of the sudden. The cheers in the classic part were because Tom Baker, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred and Lala Ward were in the audience and they stood up when their scenes came up. At the end the cheers are for each Dr’s image.
I agree with you Susan that the intermission talk was really one of the best bits. I liked their attitude when the series resumed about the basic sounds, kind of, “WTF? Why would we change anything???”

Oh, sources correct me that Nicola Bryant was in the audience as well. I’ll bet my last thin dime that Katy Manning was there but they didn’t have an image with her in it. Poor Jo!

@zarathustra
I try not to sound to much like a total geek, but I think I would have totally geeked out with the other doctors in the audience! Since Big Finish Colin Bakers Doctor is one of my favorite (and you don´t have to see his costume ;) ).
While listening I just imagined - what if there were such fans in a classic concert like Mozart or so… that would be fun … this is what i love about Who - you can go everywhere with it!
