The rich space opera tradition, extending from the off-world voyages of Verne and Wells to this galaxy-embracing anthology, is arguably sf’s most prolific subgenre. Veteran anthologist Dozois and co-editor Strahan present some of the newest boundary-stretching variations on the category’s many themes.

I’m looking forward to listening to it. Do you have access to higher quality? 32 kbps is a bit low.

Thanks anansisan :-)
I wondering about those sites you posted. do you pay for Usenet, or can you recommend a decent free option.
this is actually one of the books I wanted to grab if I ever got around to finding a Usenet source. I see Vol. 2 was also posted, will you be UL’ing that one as well?
As Usual, thanks for sharing.

Most Usenet providers offer 30 day free trials, but one, XS Usenet, (https://www.xsusenet.com/sign-up/) offers a lifetime 1 Mbit free account.
Yes I have Vol. 2 and am planning to post it on the weekend. I have a big backlog of books from there to post here, so anyone else who wants to jump in and pass books along would be appreciated. Also there are books in other genres/subgenres that I don’t bother with, but others might be interested in.
Cheers.

SWEET, I’ve got my first usenet DL going :-)
Thanks a ton. I don’t have a problem posting stuff here. I’m grabbing “Silver Screen” by Justina Robson right now, then I’ll grab the rest of her books posted there (Sci-Fi anyway, that’s really all I ever grab, with a few exceptions).
I work 6 days a week (over the road), so I’m on occasionally during the week, but Sunday is all mine.
Any sci-fi requests (after these Justina Robson books) to help lighten your load :-)

I’m going through the list and there is just so much to choose from, I don’t know where to start after the Robson books.
LOL, thanks for the NEW addiction.

I know. Huge rush isn’t it? :-D
Post whatever you like. I always do a search first before posting to make sure it hasn’t been posted before.

As I said in an earlier post great upload. But it is spoilt by an awful narrator John Polk. His voice and tone are terrible. had to give up after listening to the first story. My mind and ears balked at listening to him anymore. Still Thanks for your upload.

P.S. Roy Avers is another narrator that is just awful and I give him a big swerve too.
