Couldn’t have said it better myself. Erasing our past by destroying statues…it doesn’t matter if it is illegal or wrong, they do it anyway! And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Law and order means NOTHING to these people. Just as long as they get their way. The Constitution is used as toilet paper! MAGA PEOPLE! And thanks!

So this is about Confederate statues? Ok.
These statues aren’t history. They are political symbols, most erected 50 years or more after the Civil War. Obviously the uploader sees them as that, and it’s disingenuous to pretend otherwise.
The rest seems like a list of anecdotes about things people have said critical of views the author supports. And that classic “War on Christmas”.

Agreed. Let democrats tear down democrat statues. Though if they really wanted to tear down a relic of institutional racism they’d start with their own party.

If I’ve got my history right, the Democrats erected most of those statues (during their difficult “Klan” phase).
People are correct to detest all racism and perhaps to abandon addled notions of “race” altogether. But erasing the past and recreating it is what Winston Smith used to do as his day job. Leave the relics and artifacts where they are - but put them in context. Include a plaque with alternate perspectives and views, as in a museum. Allow them to be a learning opportunity.
We’re only here for a brief time, but we do a lot of damage to our entire environment, which posterity lives to regret.

I like the one about the Dodge Dart! That can’t be true! Who drives a Dodge Dart? (And who, might I ask, smashed all the other commandments BEFORE the fellow in the Dodge Dart came along and smashed the last ten? I bet THAT isn’t even addressed in this book.) 5 Stars!
