Apparently tramboy is incapable of seeing anyone else’s point of view and returns to the time-old sad approach of “If you disagree you are scared”. “Homophobia” is a wonderful example of this nonsense. Interesting tramboy assumes I am male (rather sexist of him/her/it). The doctor has always been male. To allow PC nonsense to effect a long running series isn’t “open minded” its “fear-responsive” — Oh my! Everyone else has females playing roles and if we don’t people might accuse us of being “scare of everything” around us!!! Wooooooooo!!!! Next we will have “Wonder Man”, “Nicky Drew Mysteries”, et al. Come up with a new female character, or expand on one that exists — don’t mess up a long running, solid series (it will kill it off) with a “female doctor” just because you can. Tramboy, I’ll send you some tissues, you sound like a snowflake.

Roeyrboat. I’m gay and I totally agree with you. I’m pretty gutted about the way things are heading with Doctor Who. As are all my female friends who are big fans. It’s not about misogyny or sexism. It’s about the characters and the story. Apparently I’m crying ‘male tears’. Whatever!
