Logan Morrison always fought for everything he had, but it never was much. Growing up truly alone did that to you. One day, when taking on an extra tutoring gig to help out a cute chick with a quirky name, she ends up bringing him back to her place. Cool, right?
Well, the next morning, Logan wakes up in chains and comes to learn that Cherry Cola is one beautiful and unhinged monster girl member out of three in a small Fresco City witch coven. Their plans for him? Servitude.
But Logan lands a much better deal for himself, and next thing he knows, these cuties are serving him as much as he helps them. Thanks to his deepening bond with the witchy beauties, he even begins to develop strange powers, including but not limited to the ability shapeshift into giant monsters matching their rare magical affinities.
With these new powers, it isn’t long before the coven and Logan start making their own play for power—and it isn’t long before the coven ladies start falling for him, either. How will Logan manage the demanding and persistent needs of his occult cuties? Will they be able to keep the larger covens out of their business? Will the danger they get themselves into be worth the rewards they reap together? And will Logan’s harem—er—coven grow?

Okay, this one I just got today and, since everyone knows Knightely’s writing (and I have upped a great deal of his)….here’s a new one.
Narration is done by a great 2 voice artists and, from what I have skimmed of the book (to ensure proper conversion and quality) this is another one done extremely well.
Hope to get the rest up soon and, got word back taht I should ahve the rest of Heathen Row in he next week or so.

In case someone if mislead by the name and summary, the character is no king, he’s literally a slave who’s regularly treated as a pet even by the more subbier character0s.

@hwaet: It’s true but, if you read the description it states it there as well. King in this term is a overall blanket statement to cover both sides. He is ‘king’ of the women (in his mind) and, they are queen’s (or kings) over him.
We could get into a deeper point to the fact that a king is still a slave (from different points of view) but, that’s rather a talk to have on a much serious book rather than this one to unplug your mind and relax with.
Now, off to work for me but, you did bring up a good point (or put me on the path of some odd questions for those at work). Thanks.

MC seems like a serious sub, definitely not a king. Initially he said up to the girls to get a better deal but as time goes on he accepts his sub role. Alpha just sees him as a pet. When the subject of kids is discussed he said he wasn’t ready and because he didn’t have a family was worried about being a good dad. Alpha tells him his only roles are to give them kids and protect (give his life) for the rest of the coven. He just spins in circles in his inner monologue and says nothing. I had a that hard time with this character. I think this would appeal to someone who’s lived their entire adult life in their parents basement and had everything done for them. No matter how hot the girls were no one would tell me I have no say in my kids lives. This was a huge disappointment for me and just made me cringe too often.

Well, he is a ‘familiar’ in the story and, they do tend to act like the way the main MC does.
Interesting to have such a conversation on a book like this. Points of view from all.
As for kids and the idea of no say….seen it before in real life (sadly) but, the courts kind of make it hard if the woman leaves with the kids for father’s to have a say but, that’s a entire different can of worms to get into. lol
Either which way, it’s nice to unplug your mind and, just let the book flow.

I understand that this site’s servers are set up to allow it to bypass legalities, but it hurts to see my hard work being shared here for free. Every download here instead of audible hurts not only me, but my family as well. I know that I can’t stop it, but I would appreciate it if folks could avoid sharing my work on this site, it would mean a lot to me.

@Mikegibsonauthor: That is how most of us find new authors and, a great deal of us then purchase books (or the Audible non-converted copy).
For instance, if it weren’t for here, I would never had found Knightley and bought a small number of books from Audible. Though, I don’t know if authors make much off Audible per book sold…..fact is, many folks find writers and books that way and expand from there. Small loss up front for a bigger net value reward in the longrun.

It would be different if say, only the first or second book of a series were uploaded here. That wouldn’t be too different from a sale that allows someone a chance to get a sneak peek and decide if they like that author or want to buy the rest of the series. However, without proper data available, I can only assume it’s a net loss. And considering that they can listen to an entire series for free, there isn’t much motivation to financially support the authors.
Regardless of our disagreement, I appreciate your polite response and honesty.

Hmmm…I can’t argue with you on that point. Without data, it’s a pointless quest to see what might be only what has been.
I find that a great deal of people do listen to a book (or series) and, then chow down on other books from an author. I do that myself and, even buy the book again (at a higher quality byte rate often).
The key thing is, people can sample or even listen to book(s) from a person but, give back to the authors what you got and, support….i do mean not just lip service either. Buy their books.
I will admit, I like the books and, do buy (my wife says maybe a tad too many) books often and, tend to have fav authors I like to support or generally find their stuff interesting.
I shall keep this in mind when it comes to Knightley books and, perhaps just listen to them myself at home.

Don’t know if you really are the author Mike Gibson or just posing, but I’ve never downloaded any of your works. Looking at your books, I’m not interested in them either.
There are lots of books that are trash. This one for instance. I think this book is absolute trash and I’d demand my money back if I bought it. If I bought 100 of these mediocre or subpar books at $40 each, I’d be out $4000 for trash. To me that’s thievery. If you sell trash you shouldn’t get my money. Charging me for this book is theft.
Strange that it’s now being called theft, but no one called it theft when friends would lend each other music, games, or movies before the internet and file sharing existed.
By the way, I find it funny that you’re here, browsing the site, and commenting.
As far as I can see, this isn’t even your book, and has nothing to do with you or your books.
The narrators may deserve something for lending their voice, but the author doesn’t deserve any of my money for this flaming pile of trash.

… I’d like to add, maybe you don’t know about Royal Road. It’s a site where people give away their writing for free - no, not as a “promotion,” just “Free.” Then some of them sell them as books on Amazon. Writers shouldn’t expect money for something they were giving away completely free.

This “book” is absolute trash. It starts out being about sex, and then every other scene is either about sex, or his harem, or something sex-related.
At least Metal Mage and Iron Titan had some originality. Even if they were mediocre, there was some story in there. But this book is just absolute subpar trash about sex.
