A review—
It was slow paced and the heroine was a spoiled nightmare. There was nothing in Linnet’s personality that made her likable. Nothing Jack did made her happy. It was a very disappointing read.

Another—Great story! I really enjoyed this one. I couldn’t help but feel bad for Linnet and everything she went through. I understood where she stood as far as her choice of not wanting to marry a man she knew nothing about but had suddenly sent her life into a tailspin. I was a little puzzled by her choice to go back to London and marry a British peer regardless, especially since it seemed like her choices were pretty slim and could only end with just another Fortune Hunter on her arms.
