While I found the 1st book a bit ‘dry’ (perhaps that’s not the right word) I did find I was wondering how the story would develop. The plot reminds me of a movie that starred ‘Whoopi Goldberg”. I guess it didn’t impress me very much because all I remember is soemthing about a steam engine.
