Yes, that is exactly the same size and method that I used.  i.e. a Stereo (2.1ch) rip from Audible.

great work @prettyrandom.  if they do another series like this in the future, i'll be sure to pass em on to you.  glad we were able to get these out.  it drove me crazy when Audible changed their drm in the middle of the series release.

Thanks, couldn't have done it without you. It there's one book I could get you to do this again with, it would be the fourth and final series of 'Impact Winter'. I have headphone mixes of the first three series and I was hating the fact that I'd be stuck with plain stereo for the final season.

It doesn't even have a release date yet, but it was recorded over a year ago so I don't think it will be too far off in the future.

I'd gladly do a credit swap and send you something you wanted in return. Here's hoping...

It's hardly necessary if each is already available.
But if you do an omnibus, delete the previous torrents. You can't have both.

And relatedly:

This is a compilation of the full cast books, all in Opus format.
It's unique in format, so it can stand.
Opus can do chapters, but this has each chapter as a separate file, which seems messy to me.

I'm not really sure what you mean?  he's talking about converting a Dolby Atmos copy of an unreleased book into a Binaural stereo version if/when i can rip the original atmos.  I also kind of consider 768kb/s eac3 -> 96kb/s opus to be a complete bastardization of the source material lol.  Especially split by chapter. But to each their own i guess.

I thought he meant a compilation of the entire series, the ones he has done already and the final.

Not what I would choose. But I'm not interested in 6 channel at absurd bitrates either, I listen on earbuds while I'm walking mostly.

yea that's why I've been working with PrettyRandom.  He's been converting them to 256kb/s binaural stereo so that way you can have a file at a third of the size that'll still recreate the spatial audio on any normal ear buds.  i think he's done a great job with them.  i also think you'd miss a lot of the magic (heh) of this version of the series otherwise.
