Eldritch Tales - H.P. Lovecraft
Shared by:schwarzblut1138

Following on from the phenomenal success of NECRONOMICON comes ELDRITCH TALES. Howard Phillips Lovecraft died at the age of 47, but in his short life he turned out dozens of stories which changed the face of horror. His extraordinary imagination spawned both the Elder God Cthulhu and his eldritch cohorts, and the strangely compelling town of Innsmouth, all of which feature within these pages. A companion-piece to Necronomicon, this gathers together the rest of Lovecraft’s rarely seen but extraordinary short fiction.

56 stories.
Various narrators, run-time 20h 09m.

Earth, Air, Fire & Water - Four Elemental Mythos Tales - Brian Lumley
Shared by:schwarzblut1138

Brian Lumley’s Cthulhu Mythos writings began in the 1960s when he was included in new collections by August Derleth’s Arkham House. While today, the author is probably better-known for his Necroscope and Psychomech series, he has continued with his Mythos stories for over 40 years. This volume spans that career, using Derleth’s suggestion that the Mythos monsters could be viewed as Elementals, and includes a new novella-length story, narrated by Joshua Saxon.

Stories included in this collection:
Lord Of The Worms
Born Of The Winds
The Changeling
The Gathering

The Second Wish and Other Exhalations - Brian Lumley
Shared by:schwarzblut1138

The Second Wish and Other Exhalations maintains the nightmarish tradition established by his Fruiting Bodies and Other Fungi and Dagon’s Bell and Other Discords to complete a trilogy of terror, narrated by Joshua Saxon.
From Lovecraftian tales such as The House of the Temple, Rising With Surtsey, and the title story, to such contemporary horrors as The Sun, the Sea, and the Silent Scream and The Luststone, this new collection has been culled from the writings of a true master of nightmares.

Stories included in this collection:
The Second Wish
The Sun the Sea and the Silent Scream
De Marigny’s Clock
The Luststone
Mother Love
What Dark God?
The Thief Immortal
The House of the Temple

Thomas Ligotti Audio Collection - Thomas Ligotti
Shared by:Hellblazer1138

Thomas Ligotti (born July 9, 1953) is an American horror writer. His writings are rooted in several literary genres – most prominently weird fiction – and have been described by critics as works of philosophical horror, often formed into short stories and novellas in the tradition of gothic fiction. The worldview espoused by Ligotti in his fiction and non-fiction has been described as pessimistic and nihilistic. The Washington Post called him "the best kept secret in contemporary horror fiction."

1 non fiction book and 70 short stories.

The Gods of H.P. Lovecraft - Rachel Caine, Seanan McGuire, Laird Barron, Jonathan Maberry, James A Moore, Christopher Golden, Erin J French, David Liss
Shared by:MojoYugen

Lovecraft’s bestiary of gods has had a major influence on the horror scene from the time these sacred names were first evoked. Cthulhu, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep, Yog-Sothoth—this pantheon of the horrific calls to mind the very worst of cosmic nightmares and the very darkest signs of human nature. The Gods of H.P. Lovecraft brings together twelve all-new Mythos tales from:

Cthulhu (Adam Nevill) – Yog-Sothoth (Martha Wells) – Azathoth (Laird Barron) – Nyarlathotep (Bentley Little) – Shub-Niggurath (David Liss) – Tsathoggua (Brett Talley) – The Mi-Go (Christopher Golden & James A. Moore) – Night-gaunts (Jonathan Maberry) – Elder Things (Joe Lansdale) – Great Race (Rachel Caine) – Yig (Douglas Wynne) – The Deep Ones (Seanan McGuire)

With commentary on each deity by Donald Tyson
