Tomorrow the second book in Kevin Hearne's The Iron Druid Chronicles will be released. I am hoping to be as rivited by book nr 2 as i was by book nr 1.

I am hoping that Kevin Hearne turns out to be the most prolific author that I have read so far. He is already (in my opinion) keeping company with some of the worlds best authors to date (most sadly dead), if one discounts that he's so far only completed 3 serious books.

Anyway if you like fantasy/paranormal works of any shape or form, have a listen to: https://audiobookbay.lu/audio-books/hounded-kevin-hearne/
and keep your eyes open for book nr 2 in The Iron Druid Chronicles to be released 7th of June.

UPDATE: Book no 3 out tomorrow that would be the 5th of Juli  Smiley

I love this series! I got really into it after reading The Dresden Files when I was going through a series withdrawal? (i.e. The feeling you get when you're so immersed in the world of a book its ending leaves you feeling like you lost a good friend) Kevin Hearne is awesome. I don't know if its the urban fantasy genre or just the series I've read in it but it seems like its authors are predominantly female w/ mostly female protagonists. So definitely refreshing for me to find an urban fantasy w/ male perspective.

I'm also happy to see an Urban Fantasy or Paranormal series that isn't also Romance, I wish more series were like that. I really dislike romance series like this, I blame Twilight.

haha preach!!  Cheesy Cheesy Totally feel you there. Wish they were better classified in the literary world so you know what you are getting into. Too many books that should fall under the paranormal romance category get listed as urban fantasies grrrr. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind a little bit of romance but there has got to be a viable plot outside the relationship

Damn Monty, you called this fast, this series is one of those you either love or leave and it really let Luke Daniels go to town, he really flexed his characters on this series. I wish he kept it going

The first 3 ID books were phenomenal 4&5 were good but god damn the series turned into a train wreck. At least for me personally
