Ever want to know what names, and how many, have been used by an author?  In the library we used this website

Some libraries still have some older books shelved  by the author's real name and makes it a puzzle for the pages to find them.  As an example--Jean Plaidy, Philippa Carr, Victoria Holt were shelved under Hibbert.

Cool, I'll have to check it out. I do of course know some old favorites, but as evidenced by my new knowledge about Castle/Quick/Krentz I definitely don't know em all :-) It's interesting to me.

Probably most of the romance and erotica authors use pseudonyms, often several, for different subgenres.
