Is it terrible that I only just discovered her pen names?  I remember reading her stuff when I was a kid, and reading Amanda Quick novels as a teen/ya.  I had no clue the author was the same.  And Jayne Castle too.

Some trivia for you.   She used seven names.  Jayne Castle is her maiden name and Jayne Ann Krentz is her married name.  Where Amanda Quick came from, I have no idea.

Her first novels were written under her maiden name. She said once in a blog, as a naive new author she signed a contract allowing one of her publishers to own the name, and after leaving that publisher, was unable to use it on new works for ten years.  She is back to using Jayne Castle for her futuristic novels.

Many of her oldest book written as Stephanie James are being reissued as Jayne Ann Krentz.

Oh wow, 7 names? That's kinda crazy lol. I sort of understand the purpose of a publisher 'owning' a pen name, I guess...However not her own name, that's ridiculous. Still, really cool that she uses a different name for different 'genres'
