Hello,
I wonder, is it acceptable to share links to some FHS (like Mega and others which allow acceptable free download) with audiobooks instead of torrents? You know it may be more "legal" in certain countries.
Thank you for being helpful!

FHS = free hosting sites?

Only in the non-torrent section: https://audiobookbay.lu/forum/http-download-links/

It's been done before. But the links usually die quickly.
(There were quite a few links in the above forum at one time; removed as they went dead. None left now.)

This is an open forum, so anyone can see the links easily. Including anyone who wants to report them.
Don't bother to share Big Finish. They get killed very quickly and you get harassed by vigilantes pretending to be Big Finish.

But if you want to do this, better go to several forums that specialise in it:

Don't be ridiculous. Torrents are completely legal everywhere.
It's what you upload or download that makes it legal or otherwise.

But I don't know of any real enforcement campaigns against audiobook uploads, unlike music or movies.

I've seen a few torrents removed from KAT, particularly in non-fiction.

Kat does seem to act on takedown requests.
But you can usually find them on TPB.

Ones that disappear from ABB are more due to uploaders either having a panic attack or getting offended at some comment and pulling their own torrents.
