I really think it's easier to torrent than posting to a filehost. It's almost as easy as downloading them.
See https://audiobookbay.lu/forum/faqs/torrents-how-to-creat-and-share-a-book-on-the-abb-a-step-by-step-guide/

In any case, you have to get the files in a good format.
If these are from Audible, you can't upload the Audible .aa or .aax files -- they are encrypted and only the purchaser can play them. Sharing them is useless.
There is now a free program called InAudible that you can use to make MP3 or M4A files that anyone can use --  see the thread here https://audiobookbay.lu/forum/audiobook-software-apps-and-resources/audible-ripping-inaudible-discussion-updates/msg41215/#msg41215
Go to the end of that thread and get the most recent version of the program, currently 1.71.

There is a guide to the program here:
https://audiobookbay.lu/forum/guides/a-brief-tutorial-for-installing-inaudible-%28windows%29/

Don't be intimidated, you don't have to worry about most of the settings, the defaults will work.

Ya, it's not hard to do. Just take the first step and "rip" the audible book. We're here to help but take a look at the "Guides" and FAQ sections.

My up speed is 1.25 and I post stuff all the time. Sometimes 7 books a day. You could choose to rip books to 32kbs to make the book smaller. Also be sure to select "Initial seeding", Initial Seeding will use no more bits than uploading it to dropbox. Smiley

My upload speed is only slightly better.

The average novel, if ripped to average 32 kbps, is a 2-300 MB. Dramatic readings, with music and sound effects needs more to do it justice.
(Whatever you do, listen to part of it to check that it sounds okay, especially the beginning and end to make sure it is complete and check the total duration is correct.)

When I initially seed it takes a few hours for the average book to get out.
As I have quite a few torrents running, when I start seeding a new one I select all the other torrents and pause them, so all the upload bandwidth goes to the new one.

I look at the "peers" tab in uTorrent and I can see all the peers connected to me and the percentage they have. Since all peers share what they have, once any of them gets to 100% then the number of seeds starts to explode. At that point the torrent is safely launched, and my own upload is not vital.

So just upload one book at a time, wait till each is safely seeded before starting another. Don't make multi-gigabyte packs that will take you a week to seed.

Why are you trying to use Mininova? That site is basically dead, they were sued and now only allow authorised uploaders.

Read the how-to I linked above:
https://audiobookbay.lu/forum/faqs/torrents-how-to-creat-and-share-a-book-on-the-abb-a-step-by-step-guide/

When you upload a torrent at https://audiobookbay.lu/ you will see a list of recommended trackers.
Currently:

    udp://tracker.leechers-paradise.org:6969

    udp://tracker.coppersurfer.tk:6969

    udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80

    udp://tracker.pomf.se

The location of a tracker makes no difference. The speed of up/download depends on the peers, the other users who you connect to. The trackers just "announce" them. Even if all the trackers are dead, peers can find each other using DHT and the the speed is the same.

If these books are already in MP3  or M4a format, you don't need to convert them. Just organise them logically, named in order in a folder with nothing else in it. Preferably tag them.
Then follow the instructions in the post I linked to make and upload the torrent.
Do a small one for a start and advise in this thread. If it's screwed up you can delete it and try again.
