I've just uploaded The Witches of Karres - But I must have Shared as Guest, so I do not think I will get feedback the normal way...

I created this from the text of the books and ran them through the Text-to-Speech processor (enhanced Alex voice on the Macintosh).

I have more of these I've created where no audio book was available. Does it sound ok ? Should I upload more of these Text-to-Speech audio files?

As much as I admire Stephen Hawking, I wouldn't choose him to read an audiobook. Unfortunately, that's what this sounds like to me. I've tried on a number of occasions to listen to Text-to-Speech files, and I just can't do it. Certain sounds and voice inflections still sound far too artificial to me.
Of course, this is just my opinion and others may be able to tolerate it.
There's so much wonderful literature out there that has not been, nor is likely to be, made into audio formats. I look forward to the day when conversion software can do a convincing job.

I think most downloaders would be very disappointed to find robot readings instead of humans.

Anyone who likes text to speech can generate them easily themselves on the fly, without needing to download and store large audio files.
