Howdy!

I'm looking for a post-apocalyptic series that features a Texas background, a sheriff or policeman main character a weird or funny named main ammo store, gangs and saving a girl in the desert. Can't remember the author's name or series name.

It was on audio books at least 3 years ago, but now it has disappeared or I just can't remember the series.

(Now before you say it, many might have this main premise and indeed they do, but I hope to find that special one. If it helps there was 3-4 audio books I listened to.)

I have books 1-5 of that series.

My search only showed book 1 on the ABB so I'll post the set tomorrow tonight.
