There's some critics saying that this is somehow a step back in style. I agree but in a good way! It has some of the magic King had before his accident. A good yarn!

Evil is a Matter of Perspective: An Anthology of Antagonists.
Whole thing seems to be an ad for contributing authors book series (most of whom are not very good to begin with) its often the stories are just mostly contextless scene with nothing giving you any investment in the characters and mostly failing on delivering on the promise the book makes in the preface

Haven't listened to it myself, but that's usually my big problem with anthologies. It ends up being a bunch of stories which are too short to make you care one way or the other about the characters involved, world, and story. Before you know it, it's over, and here comes another story you won't care about.

His writing makes you laugh out loud and cry...
All Things Wise and Wonderful By: James Herriot Narrated by: Christopher Timothy Series: All Creatures Great and Small, Book 3 Length: 15 hrs and 14 mins Unabridged Audiobook Release date: 01-05-01 Language: English Publisher: Macmillan Audio
Publisher's Summary In this third enchanting collection of stories, James Herriot, the world's most beloved veterinarian, picks up where All Things Bright and Beautiful left off: World War II has begun, and James has been inducted into the RAF. We see him at training camp and we go back with him to Yorkshire - on real trips as he breaks away to see Helen, who is about to have a baby, and on trips of reverie as he recalls the dales, the animals, and the Yorkshire people who have so enriched his life. We meet old friends again - his partner Siegfried, the zany Tristan, the bon vivant Granville Bennett - and scores of new folk, each with a story to tell. James Herriot is back and, as one reviewer said of his work, "If ever you have loved a friend, human or otherwise, these stories are for you."

Ascension: The Beginning After the End, Book 8 By: TurtleMe Honestly; I had a hard time finishing this book. Keep in mind this is book 8 for me and found myself pausing for no reason and fast-forwarding to just get it done. The first few books were very good, but the last two just not as enjoyable for me. This felt like a complete restart of the MC, and maybe it will all make sense by the next book. However, this one did not work for me, on a positive note: I did like some of the new characters. There are more detailed reviews on Amazon if you don’t mind some spoilers.

Starcaster series by JN Chaney. It's a scifi series that combines conventional space combat with magic/psyonic ability.
Can anyone post the link to the "name that book' thread? Having trouble finding it.

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.
Fast paced SciFi Adventure...with Humor...and Physics: A book that was hard to stop listening because I just wanted to know what would happen next. Seems like he could write a sequel but it has a solid ending.

Stephen King can come up with the most ridiculous story idea and make it into a fabulous book you'll want to read again. I read "Colorado Kid, twice, back to back. I've never done that with ANY other book. The Dark Tower is an epic tale of fiction that everyone should read.

After finishing and hating the invisible life of Addie Le Rue I'm gonna try some Cormac McCarthy, specifically the Trilogy before No Country For Old Men

Finally listening the concluding volume of this series. Even if it's not nearly as good as Dresden Files, it is a good and engaging story.
