M J O'Shea's Catch My Breath.
Excellent narration! I thought Stevens was going to turn Danny and Elliott into flaming teenage queens but he didn't and his narrating style is quiet, with great expression and a comfortable speed so that the story just flows like a smooth stream.

The Wages of Sin (Cin Craven #1).  I love paranormal Urban fantasy stuff, but lately so many of them have just been boring and all seeming to follow the same predictable format....this one is the first one in awhile to catch my interest!

I'm currently listening to Traveling in Space by Steven Paul Leiva. Intelligent, humorous and poignant sci-fi. I would highly recommend this book, even to people who don't normally like sci-fi.

I'm reading Innocent Blood, which is book 2 of the Order of the Sanguine series. It's like a fast moving thriller, with Vampires, the Catholic Church, and a  number of historical and religious figures. I posted The Blood Gospel, the first book in the series last week in the category "Other", because I really couldn't decide which genre it was Thriller ? Vampire? Fantasy?. I will post this book as soon as I've finished

Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop.  Loved Written in Blood and this one is just as enjoyable to listen to.  I love urban fantasy but every once in while, I need to listen to something a bit different and this is a perfect fit!

Christopher Moore - Practical Demon keeping - not so far as funny as "The Gospel According to Biff" or as serious "blue" but OK-funny in his ironic way.

Started listening to On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony .The first book in the Incarnations of Immortality series.
So far I am enjoying it , about 2 hours into it now. the plot reminds me of Terry Pratchets' Mort.
I'm even looking forward to going to work tonight, so I can read the rest.

Hey all. Smiley I finished Piratical Demon Keeping by Christopher Moore. Many of his book feel like Garrison Keillor...but move faster. Funny and entertaining, good characters. Several plots that move well and, to a satisfying finale. Good book. So after THAT I wanted something hard SciFi (although I love the little demon - I want one!)... so I loaded Marsbound.

I kinda despise werewolf type books, but I liked these too.  Smiley

As for me, 2nd Cin Craven sucked, but the third was good enough to keep my interested.  On to Fable by Chanda Hahn...cute fairy tale paranormal series.

And then (Egad) I have promised to read Fifty Shades.  Shoot me now.  But I have promised friends I will at least try instead of continually making fun of them....

Hey Triforge! Smiley
Brilliance is like x-men but more realistic "powers". You know how idiot savants are very bright in one area but can't tie their shoe? These people are NORMAL savants. Bright in one area but normal in every other. Only a few percent of the population are being born this way but the story focuses more on how people and government reacts to these people. There's a lot of action/man hunts/twist and the story is solid. Good character depth and motivations. It was fun. I liked it.

Aw, is that what happened?  There was a perfect ending for a new spinoff series, so I was looking but couldn't find anything.  That explains it!

As for Fifty Shades (Dallis I did try, I swear!)  - it was not for me.  Not actually as bad as I was expecting, but I also skipped about %60 of the middle and just skipped to the end so who knows.

On to Better Homes and Hauntings by Molly Harper and it is very cute so far.  I love Amanda Ronconi's (spelling? but too lazy to go look it up) narration along with Molly's writing, so enjoying it quite a bit Cheesy

I just got back from vacation and bought Ironhearted by Cate Ashwood and Dirty Deeds by Rhys Ford. I'll be uploading them as soon as they convert. I'll probably be buying a bunch more, as I have quite a few credits, once I get my bearings back.
