This might be the wrong place, but I'm responding anyway.
AFAIK, I've never seen any audiobook of Italian writers narrated in English by Italian narrators.
English-language audiobooks (written by foreign writers and translated into English) are produced for the English-speaking audience in mind, so the priority is placed on greater comprehension by the listeners rather than accuracy in pronunciation/intonation. For this reason, such accuracy is very often compromised.
I understand your wish to have the language not messed up by English-speaking narrators. I am a native Japanese speaker and have horrid experiences of Japanese passages/words being shredded terribly by some narrators. However, damage made by Japanese works read in English by Japanese narrators is worse. The entire work becomes unlistenable. So, I prefer to listen to native English narrators for any work of foreign origin.
Your case may not be as bad as in mine, but I don't think the publishers will opt for Italian narrators unless they're exceptionally fluent in English and have outstanding ability of a professional narrator, which I believe is nearly impossible.
