Hello!

Neighbors help neighbors. Can you help me help neighbors? Seek your recommendations.

Neighbor 1 is a kind retired lady. Her English is very very good. She likes crime. Before, I give her Agatha Christie. She listens all the Agatha Christie. She likes female detective ladies investigating. She also listens some new books:
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/a-secret-agent-granny-mystery-book-1-3-harper-lin/
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/cape-bay-cafe-mysteries-bks-1-9-harper-lin/
She likes murder, excitement, but not fantastical. She has cats. In the past, she works for the British.
Last I give her: https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/a-vezry-english-murder-a-lady-eleanor-swift-mystery-1-verity-bright/
She does not like it. Needs new series.

Neighbor 2 is retired soldier. He likes space soldiers, humans fight aliens, humans win. He does not like magic. His values are a little old.
He listens all books in series:
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/human-schronicles-saga-complete-series-part-1-tr-harris/
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/human-for-hire-collateral-damage-included-books-5-7-tr-harris/
He also listens some wild west, is not on ABB.
Last, I give him: https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/phulers-company-phules-company-book-1-robert-asprin/
He does not like it. Needs new series.

Thank you.

I can help your lady neighbour, but it might be a little difficult.  It's up to the taste of the individual.  If she likes Agatha Christie.  You can try anything listed as "Golden Age Mystery"  or "Classic Mystery".
If she likes Harper Lin, but not Verity Bright; you can try "Cozy Mystery" or "Cosy Mystery" but not in the Historical Fiction tag.
Hope that helps.  Good Luck.

For the first one, I suggest Alexander McCall Smith, No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. It is about a female detective, set in Botswana. Quite fun, cosy stories anyway.

Also Richard Osman, Thursday Murder Club. Not read them myself yet, but seem to be quite popular for cosy mystery.

Hello.
Thank you, @taghan! I will tape her a 2 book of No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, see she likes or not. Is a 24 book series, she likes, I can get a tea for some month.

And thank you @Ants261! She says, not a quote, she says it more pretty than I, the new series is not genuine. Harper Linn, she thinks, the author is a active lady, maybe a few year younger than she, but is a lady. The new series, she says, the author is my age. There is something missing and it is not genuine.
I do not know actual age of any author, but she says, I nod.

The "Cozy mystery" genre should have a lot of those.
https://audiobookbay.lu/audio-books/tag/cozy-mystery/

Mostly female detectives, both old and young, so check.

Neighbor 2 is retired soldier. He likes space soldiers, humans fight aliens, humans win. He does not like magic. His values are a little old.
He listens all books in series:
He also listens some wild west, is not on ABB.
For space soldiers, try:
https://audiobookbay.lu/audio-books/tag/space-opera/
and https://audiobookbay.lu/?s=military+sci+fi&cat=undefined%2Cundefined

Some specifics: Starship Troopers by Heinlein:
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/ustarship-troopers-m4bx64-robert-a-heinlein/

"The Expanse" series of 9 books is not all about space battles but there are a lot as the series progresses.
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/expansed-01-95-james-sa-corey/
The TV series is great too.

"Necrotek" is sometimes weird, has a lot of action, space fighters as well as giant robots.
https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/necrootek-book-1-jonathan-maberry/

For Westerns, obviously we have the category: https://audiobookbay.lu/audio-books/type/westerns/
That can include romances as well as action.
To omit romance: https://audiobookbay.lu/?s=the&cat=26010%2C-103&cat=26010%2C-103

He's probably already read Louis L'Amour's books, if not:
https://audiobookbay.lu/?s=louis+l%27amour&tt=1

GraphicAudio does a lot of Westerns, especially by William Johnstone.
https://www.graphicaudiointernational.net/our-productions/genres/western.html
We have most of them here I think.

I wouldn't call those "military SF" myself, though a lot of military people in the story. It's a "First contact with weird aliens" story.

But Jerry Pournelle, alone, has a bunch of stories in the same "CoDominium" history that are more military, human vs human.
I think he's a bit long winded myself, and he seems to try to recreate historic military situations and tactics in space, which stretches my credulity.

Thank you for recommending! Yes, every human has ability. My ability is good with computers. The lady always corrects my English. She helps me. The gentleman has much knowledge. One hand receives, two hands gives, everyone smiles.
Wayward Galaxy description sound much action, kill aliens, very good. I write him a tape, see he likes.  Grin
Yesterday, he finishes a Robert Heinlein collection, Starship Trooper.

Yesterday, he finishes a Robert Heinlein collection, Starship Trooper.

That was basically the Pacific War (WWII) in space.

A response to that was "The Forever War" by Joe Haldeman, which was more like Vietnam.
Included in this : https://audiobookbay.lu/abss/joe-halydeman-collection-joe-haldeman/
