I enjoyed how I met your mother, and so when I saw that Marshal (Jason Segel) wrote a sci-fi series of books I wanted to find out if acting was all the guy can do. It started with Otherworld (which is quite inspired by ready player one) which was really great, it’s also the only one from the series on this site. But then upon listening to the audiobooks where he reads them himself it really took the books to a new level and I would recommend them to everyone.
